On Saturday, 28 June 2025, we’ll be opening the doors to our adorable Little Cobbled Village – children’s role play centre.
Building Dreams: It’s Coming Together
t’s finally happening. After months of planning, painting, assembling tiny chairs, testing tills, sorting miniature food crates, and dreaming big—we’re almost there. The Little Cobbled Village is coming together, piece by piece, and we couldn’t be more excited (and yes, maybe a little exhausted too).
This isn’t just a play centre. It’s a little world built from love, late nights, laughter, and a lot of elbow grease.
Creating a Miniature World
Every corner of the Village has been designed with care and intention. We’ve imagined what it would feel like to be three feet tall in a grown-up world—and then brought that imagination to life.
From the Curly Locks Hair & Beauty Salon with its child-sized salon chairs and pretend curlers, to the sweet little Village Shop where kids can sell merchandise, every element is handcrafted to spark joy, curiosity, and creativity.
And as the shelves go up, the cobbled paths are laid, and each sign is hung with pride—it’s all becoming real.
Yes, It’s Hard Work!
We won’t pretend this has been easy. Some days we’re on our knees (literally, installing skirting boards), and other days we’re painting into the dark.
There have been mishaps, redos, and more late-nights than we care to count. But every challenge reminds us why we started this in the first place—to build a space where children can be completely free to play, imagine, and explore.
And every time a child wanders in with wide eyes during a sneak peek, or a parent says “I wish this existed when I was little,” it gives us the energy to keep going.
