Families across Lancaster are eagerly counting down to the official opening of The Little Cobbled Village, a brand-new children’s role-play centre set to launch on Saturday, 28 June 2025. Designed as a miniature high street built just for kids, this immersive play space promises to bring imaginative adventures to life in a safe, fun, and beautifully detailed environment.
A village made for play
Children will soon step into a world of make-believe, where they can become:
- Hair stylists in the Curly Locks Hair & Beauty Salon
- Bakers in the Village Bakeshop
- Shopkeepers, postal workers, baristas, and more!
Each play area is crafted to look like a real-life business—scaled down to kid-size—with props and costumes to encourage role-play, cooperation, and creativity.
What to Expect Going Forward
After the big launch, The Little Cobbled Village will run scheduled play sessions throughout the week, with themed days, baby & toddler mornings, and weekend exclusive parties.
Organisers say the Village was designed to “celebrate childhood imagination” and offer parents a safe, creative space for their kids to explore real-world scenarios through pretend play.
